Buddhism & Wicca.

I was going into this direction since quite some time, so now I need to share this so Buddhism & friends know what's going on.

For me, Buddhism is equally important as Wicca - religion of Witchcraft, and now the time has come for me to go to Wiccans to help them & learn. I go to them with compassion, with open mind and with open heart.

I'll try to be officially initiated into Wiccan religion as well.

I'll be putting effort into this mission, and for a longer while will be helping Buddhism much less. Perhaps my Buddhist friends will want to support me in my efforts to to help Wiccans, will support me when i'll try to find new friends for us all. I think it's called: 'working with connections' / pl: 'praca ze związkami' / in Buddhism.

Truth is what brings together instead of separating, but honesty is also important.

I intend to return and share lessons, and tell Buddhism about our new friends.

I had thoughts appearing in mind that Buddha Karmapa's 17th wife - Sangyumla - wants me to help her later with the magick of Witchcraft/Wicca that i'll learn, to be her 'court magician'
/ pl: 'nadworny mag' /, a more or less important one. ;)

I know that 'court magician' title sounds fancy / pl: 'ekstrawagancko' /, but when someone is dedicated then anything is possible. If not in this life, then perhaps in future lives, after rebirth(s)/reincarnation(s).




/ Wiccan Rede is the heart of the Wiccan Law.

The 'Law of Three' is like the Karmic Law, it states that what we do, what energy we send, will return to us three-fold. /

P.S. I have the book: 'Yoga Tantra: Paths to Magical Feats' by H.H. Dalai Lama, Dzong-ka-ba & Jeffrey Hopkins. Not sure if it's my way, however. Contents of this book seem very complicated and advanced too.

P.S.S. Wicca is NOT satanism. As I understand it, satanism is inverted christianity - the same thing, but approached from other perspective. In practice, the only difference is that satanists sin more. Wicca is something else, it includes belief in godess, it is completely different 'collection of ideas' than christianity, inverted or not.

Independent Thinking & Trust in One's Mind.

I am pretty sure that to be a good buddhist - at least in the diamond way school/lineage - one needs to be able to think independently, and one needs to trust in one's Mind.


But what is independent thinking?

After all, we are influenced by society, by media, by the internet, by religions, by collective psychology of a place we live in, etc.

Some people think they think independently, but are just repeating the words of others.

Do not get me wrong, I do not encourage not trusting wisdom of the wiser, sometimes trusting the wisdom of the wiser is very neccessery, I think.

I think I have inner teacher, that was introduced into my mind by the acts of meditation, and by the Refuge Ceremony that I've participated in.

I think that independent thinking can include lessons taken from others, even if not fully understood. The point is in deciding whether: 'Ok. This is for me', or 'This won't work very well in my case'. Making a choice of accepting the lesson or not, and then taking the responsibility - either: 'It's my own decision to think that way, to do things that way', or: 'It's my own decision to reeject this teaching, to not do it for now'. Independent thinkers also accept the consequences of their own decisions, instead of blaming teachers when something goes wrong. It's independent thinking to not blame teachers for the things we have heard from them, and opted to do by ourselves.


What is Trust in One's Mind?

I think it's impossible to know everything, to fully control our lives.

But then, we can take refuge in our friends and in our trusted teachers and in their lessons.

Then when we lose our / illusory / control over our lives, we have friends who can catch us when we fall. Everything turns to be allright, in the end.

'Falling' can be losing our / illusory / control over our lives, or losing a touch with reality. And reality is not as it seems or as explained by media, I think. I think and believe that miracles and supernatural powers are fact, for example. I've witnessed some in my life - for example during the Buddhist Refuge Ceremony i participated in.

When we fall, and friends whom we trust 'catch us up', it's like flying on the Icarus wings, then falling down. But then it's falling into a sea, and that sea is calm and warm. In the end one survives and is feeling well. :)

I've heard from a buddhist friend, she said that: 'Mind is like sea'. I think that it's true, regardless of whether one considers Mind to be personal, collective, or both.

Buddha Statue & Abundance Blessing.

I've found in the internet an offer to buy Buddha's Statue with Abhaya Mudra / Word: 'mudra' can be translated from sanskrit as: 'seal' or 'hand gesture'. Word: 'abhayamudra' can be translated as: 'gesture of fearlessness' /.

Buddha's Statue was offered with various blessings, I did choose the Abundance Blessing
/ pl: 'Błogosławieństwo Dostatku' /. Thoughts appeared in Mind that I have Teacher's permission for that. For safety reasons, I won't reveal this Teacher's identity.

I've had thoughts in Mind that the blessing will be beyond-personal / pl: 'ponad osobiste' /. I'll take first, then others / friends / will take more. Then we all will take even more, then it will continue to benefit us all over the long-term period.

In Buddhism we believe that Deities and Gods do exist.

(I think that Deities - in short - are beings with superhuman spiritual powers, also: 'Lesser Gods').

What's the difference between Buddhism and Religions of Faith, then?

No offense meant, but we Buddhist take responsibility for our lives and for our good and evil deeds and for our karma, without bothering the higher powers with prayers... or so we should, but sometimes fail. 😛

I often pray to Buddha (17th Karmapa, Thaye Dorje) for showing me the Way (for guidance), but without expecting instant results without effort on my part. I pray for showing me the Way that will lead me to wishes fulfilled, or just for showing me the Way to the Liberation and to the Enlightenment.

I pray for Buddha's guidance by speaking the Mantra: 'KARMAPA CHENNO' which means: 'Power of all Buddhas work through us' with the intention of asking for guidance. In a way this is both Mantra and Prayer at the same time. Or so I think at least.

I also believe in Buddha's Wisdom and Compassion. I believe in Lama Ole Nydahl's Wisdom and Compassion as well.

I believe in cooperation between Religions and Views, no prejudices if possible.

My own definition of the Truth is: 'Truth is what brings together instead of separating, but Honesty is also important'.

.. and yes, I like people who think that Honesty and Truth are same thing.

The Doctrine of Awakening by Julius Evola.

I've been approached by an internet friend, with whom I discuss things spiritual and magick, and who prefers me to not disclose his nickname in the internet.

He told me that he was advised to read this book, and he told me that I might be interrested in this as well.

He wanted me to review this book for him and I'll gladly do this for him, for myself, and for others. I hope that I'll find time for that soon.

As a buddhist, I work with my friends, my connections. if this book is of interrest for them, it's important for me too, afterall.

I've found a fairly cheap seller, so I've ordered this book. It has arrived and I've started reading.

Summary & Comments/Review (by chapters):

PART I: PRINCIPLES

1. Varieties of Ascesis.

In the first chapter, author explains that in various religions and views (book's author - as well as many others - say that buddhism is NOT a religion), there are different types of ascesis. From self-punishment to absolve from sins - as is done in Religions of Faith, to disciplined training and practice for Mind's development, as the ascetism is explained in Buddhism.

In Buddhism, ascetic practices are like a science, are means to perfect the Mind, to reach Calmness and Liberation (from suffering). In Religions of Faith, ascetics are often mixed with feelings to extreme, and are often too sentimental, often not-so logical and not very scientific.

Blog author's notes:
- In Buddhism, feelings also have their very important place, but should be controlled to not cause harm to oneself and/or to others,
- The early Buddhism teaches the simplest, the most basic lessons, and leads to Liberation. Later lessons that came from Buddha were more advanced, dedicated for the people with better karma, and lead to Liberation & Enlightenment.


2. The Aryan-ness of the Doctrine of Awakening.

The book's author explains that in modern days, the typical translations of the word: 'Aryan' are: 'Noble', 'Sublime', 'Saint', etc... In the Early Pāli Canon, however, the word: 'Aryan' meant: 'Awakened', 'Liberated'.

Author explores 'spirit of common origins' between Western and Eastern Aryans, considers not only the intermarriages, but also spiritual excellence, worldly greatness and worldly nobility of certain famous individuals / Philosophers included / both in the East and in the West. He points out to the supposed Aryan origins of many of these famous people.

Book's author says that it was generally held that the bodhisatta, those who may one day be awakened, are never born into a peasant or servile caste, but into warrior or brahman (priesthood) caste, into the two purest and highest of Aryan castes. Analogies between the Buddhist ascesis and war, between the qualities of an ascetic and the virtues of warrior and of a hero recur frequently in the canonical texts, as well as themes of nobility, liberty, and 'spiritual conquest' (of one's own weaknesses).

According to Buddhist texts, Buddha himself said: 'I serve no man, I have no need to serve any man'. Buddha - being himself kingly - was also kingless. Book author also mentions about Buddha's 'spiritual race', the 'autonomous and immaterial race'.

Buddha had too much respect for himself to allow himself to impose his ideas on others, even that he knew that these ideas are true. He did not convert people, he just allowed people to come to him of their own will, and instructed those who were ready for the lessons, and let them see results of following his doctrine. Having then recognized the existence of a few individual of a nobler nature, with clearer vision, he expounded the doctrine with compassion, maitaining, however, his distance, his detachment, his dignity.

Blog author's notes:
- The book was released in 1943 in Italy, during the World War 2nd. It's when the Hitler Nazis used so-called 'Scientific Occult' to justify the superiority of Ayran people. Perhaps this book would never been printed, if it did not refer to the superiority of the so called Ayrans, Ayran Race,
- The Pāḷi Canon is the standard collection of scriptures in the Theravada Buddhist Tradition (Theravada Buddhism is Early Buddhism), as preserved in the Pāli language,
- Despite above claims, the Buddhist Path to Liberation & Enlightenment is open to any caste/occupation, not only to warriors and priests - at least in the modern times,
- Buddha was born as a Prince (Prince Siddhartha Gautama), then left the palace and became ascetic because of his Spiritual Aspirations.

Politically Incorrect Fight for Peace.

Buddhism fights for Peace.

We deal with conflicting parties, making them coexist peacefully.

We deal with Catholic Church and Luciferianism for example, with Jews and Hitler Nazis, for example.

Et cetera.

Even if it is bold, scary and politically incorrect, someone has to mediate and fight for peace - warring factions need to be addressed and talked with, instead of ignoring them.

I think and believe it's good way to follow, to make such steps for World's Peace.
