Dharma.

About.

'Dharma (Tib. Chö): Buddha's teachings.

Translates literally to 'the way things are.'

It encompasses the three levels of teachings - Small Way, Great Way, and Diamond Way - and is part of the Buddhist refuge.'

-- Quoted from 'Buddha & Love' book by Lama Ole Nydahl.
(I hope that I am not wrong by translating 'Basic Way' to 'Small Way').

Blog author's comments.

It's said that Dharma is a word for 'Buddha's Unsurpassable Teachings'.

There are other Dharmic Religions as well - it's found in Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism.

When in relation with Buddhism, it's often spoken as: 'Buddha-Dharma'.

Other explainations.

There are also other explainations of word: 'Dharma', but i've chosen the single simple one to avoid the confusion.

Those curious can find more in other books or lectures, including in: 'The Three Pillars of Zen' by Roshi Philip Kapleau.
