The Golden Dawn & Buddhist Sangha Alliance against Islamic Terror?

About.

Got insight that male & old occultist from our Sangha will protect me from many dangers, including from breaking bond with our Teachers as i progress into Occultism & Esoterics - because Lama Ole told him to do so.

Got insight that he's mostly interrested in Chinese Occult, one of most powerful esoteric ways, and that his price is that i'll continue part of his work.

i've agreed to that in mind, but not at the cost of Enlightened Love - with a Buddhist Woman i Love (i know who).

i think she wants me to be a Buddhist Mage anyway.

Got insight that he'll help me to understand & counter Dragon Magic of Babylon, a task that arose in my mind years ago during a Buddhist Lecture with Lama Ole Nydahl. Dragon Magic of Babylon is basicly Ancient, Powerful & Insanely Dangerous Islamic-Terror Magic (Dragons are symbols of Fear or Magic & Protection, depending on a perspective).

i know that the Hermetic Order of the Golden dawn fights against Islamic Terror, including Daesh Organization (also known as ISIS, even if we consider it defilement of egyptian godess' name).

Currently, my main reason of befriending Buddhist Sangha with the Golden Dawn is to counter Dragon Magic of Babylon in future. there are many powerful mages in that group, and we share many of our common enemies.

... we'll see how this will develop.

Love, Enlightened.

Introduction.

There are many kinds of love, between partners, within family, between friends, ...

In Buddhism, Compassion - a part of the Four Immeasurables - is also a way of loving, it's expressed as a wish that beings should not suffer. Wisdom & Compassion lead to Enlightenment in the Mahayana Way.

In this article however, i focus on a Love between a man & a woman, between partners, involving Four Immeasurables, i focus on Enlightened Love as a way for Enlightenment.

Qualities of a perfect Love.

In my opinion:
* Perfect Love between a man & a woman should involve the Four Immeasurables,
* Perfect Love should be True, Sincere & Honest, should not toy with partner's feelings, should not manipulate,
* Perfect Love should be unconditional, oriented on giving, without envy, without mistrust, finding joy in partner's freedom & joy,
* Perfect Love should have no intent on leaving partner, should be with intent to stay together at least until death of one of partners,
* Perfect Love should involve a couple helping others as well, instead of focusing on benefits on closest family solely,
* Perfect Love should lead to spiritual growth, should be meaningful,
* Perfect Love should be Enlightening, therefore indestructible & beneficial.

... i hope that - as time flows - i'll discover more qualities of the Enlightened Love.

Examples in our Sangha.

Both HH Buddha Karmapa 17th Trinley Thaye Dorje, as well as Lama Ole Nydahl are married.

Love is obviously important to our Leaders, we have a lot of Love in our Sangha - not everyone thinks that married Buddha is something detrimential.

Wishes.

May they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering,

May they always experience true happiness, which is totally free from suffering,

May they remain in the great equanimity, which is beyond attachment and aversion.

Adjusting to Reality Changes.

HH Buddha Karmapa 17th Trinley Thaye Dorje, with the Dorje in his hand.

Dorje is the symbol of industrictability & firmness of the buddha state.

Dorje symbolizes also unity between two contradiction.

In a buddhist ceremony dorje held in right hand symbolizes masculine qualities
(compassion expressed through skillful means).
In the same ceremony it's completed by a bell in left hand - feminine qualities
(wisdom & space).
Together these represent enlightened mind.

Introduction.

It is the Buddha's Teaching that nothing conditioned is permanent.

As conditions arise, hold or cease to hold, reality changes.

As reality changes, one should adjust his or her way to benefit as many beings as possible in the shortest time possible - it's the skillful way.

How to adjust?

i've looked at HH Buddha Karmapa 17th Trinley Thaye Dorje's image, bowed my head, and spoke following mantras:

OM AH HUNG BENZA GURU PEMA SIDDHI HUNG - asking for lessons from the Lama.

OM A RA PA CA NA DHIH - asking for wisdom,
OM MANI PEME HUNG - asking for a way that includes compassion,
MA DAG MA - asking for a way that includes Mahakala's Powerful Protection.

My intent was to adjust to a current situation, to help as many beings as possible - in the shortest time possible.

Mantras affect mind-state, what happens in mind then develops in Speech & Body (Actions).

i hope that this practice will help me to adjust, to be more skillful as needed.

i am quite flexible, i can adjust my ways - retaining only one wish for Enlightened Love (i know with who) - i can use old ways, or learn new ways as needed.

Insights (thoughts arising in my mind) told me that i'll adjust, that i should observe & learn during whole process.

Perhaps i should practice this way more often in future?

Akashic Records - Store Consciousness.

Introduction.

In Buddhism, Consciousness is experienced as stream of karmic events we go through.

What we seed now, how we react & experience what happens to us now - is put into store consciousness to ripen in future, when conditions allow.

What happens now is a cause of the future.

We experience reality as an 'interactive film' that is played before us, yet we have freedom to decide how we react to events that unfold.

See also, if You wish or need: Causes & Conditions.

Akashic Records.

'The Qabalah teaches that everything in the universe is created or 'prefabricated' in the astral world of Yetzirah before it manifests in the physical world.

The astral plane is a level of reality that is higher than the physical world, but lower than the divine or spiritual world. It is a place that is in between - a realm of reflections, images, and dreams. This realm is the invisible blueprint that lies behind all physical forms. All things manifest in the astral world before they manifest in the physical world.

The astral plane is sometimes called the Treasure House of Images and is said to encompass the Akashic Record or the Akashic Library. This is a part of the astral said to contain all the memories and experiences of humanity over the course of history - embedded within the substance of the ether.

The Akashic Record exists outside of our concept of time and space, thus it contains information about future events as well as past memories.'

-- Quoted from 'The Essential Golden Dawn. An Introduction to High Magic' book by Chic Cicero and Sandra Tabatha Cicero.

i've found information that Akashic Records refers to the Store Consciousness, that there is both personal store consciousness as well as world's collective store consciousness (we're connected - no individual exists alone - but ego creates an illusion of separation), both accessed by reflection & introspection.

information about future to unfold are not 'fate', it's 'karma' that can be changed or purified. Glimpses into future are about possibilities, not about 'certain facts' that are to occur without doubt.

Accessing Akashic Records.

By looking inside, one can learn of past lives, of past in this life, of things at distance (in time or space), as well as of how the future can unfold.

'It is avialable to those seers who have achieved a certain level of psychic purity and skill at skrying, but sporadic occurences, less-developed psyches are afforded brief and sometimes distorted glances into the Record.

This astral 'stockpile' of images can be used by skilled seers to cull knowledge that is universal and timeless.

In spite of this, the seer must ever guard against astral illusions or self-deception.

A skryer must be able to learn the differencies between astral fact and astral fiction. This is why skrying is a skill that must be finely honed, carefully practiced, and constantly tested for veracity.'

-- Quoted from 'The Essential Golden Dawn. An Introduction to High Magic' book by Chic Cicero and Sandra Tabatha Cicero.

How to look inside?

- By focusing & meditating on breath - a bridge between conscious and subconscious - as well as by calming mind, by observing thoughts & feelings,
- By skrying - with or without use of devices as a black skrying mirror or a crystal ball.

To perceive things clearly one should defeat his or her own ego, as it's obstacle of ignorance & a mind's veil. Buddhist practices are one of keys to that.

i'll emphasize that one should be wary of what one sees inside - as what we perceive is obscured by our ego & other of mind's veils. Criticism & distance are important tools, and keys to remain sane as psychology teaches us all.

Passing Disturbance.

About.

In Buddhism, Phurba is the symbolic knife that severs disturbing feelings.

Since some time i had a lot of mental illness symptoms that occured as voices in my head, 'coloured' with disturbing feelings.

Since a few days i kept saying mantra 'phurba' when these symptoms occured, to sever them from my consciousness stream.

As an initial result my mind was a mess - i was confused, lot of angry symptoms appeared, beneficial insights weakened.

Mind contact - imagined or real - with a Buddhist woman i Love, as well as with friends - was reduced to almost non-existent.

Then i read that Mercury (planet of communication) went retrograde in my Zodiac Sign recently.

i looked at Lama Ole Nydahl's photo and got insight: 'gentler Sangha for you'.

My mind went quieter, contact with gentler parts of sanga & with a woman i love was re-established.

Got insights that friends will cover my weaker points in Mind, guarding against abuse.

Now i feel better - behave in a calmer, in a more controlled & sane way.

Hope this will last.

i wish to say 'Namaste' & 'Thank You' to friends in Sangha who meditate for us all, as well; i think this helps.

'On path, we need mostly patience, forbearance for our own lacks and optimism
that will help us understand that only true reality is mind's nature.
Everything else is only passing situations, that we should not take seriously,
even if usually we think precisely opposite way.'

-- My attempted translation of Hannah Nydahl's advice.

Comments regarding 'Mind Contact'.

Is 'mind contact' real a telepathy, or just a play of my needs & optimism?

Do i have a mind contact with my subconsciousness or with real people?

Perhaps it's just lingering impression of friends that was seeded in my psyche when i did meditate - that manifests in form of thoughts & feelings after these years.

i don't know, it's either a real telepathy, or a play with my subconscious, or a telepathy that acts through subconsciousness.

i consider either of these options possible at the same time, i keep criticism & distance while keeping possibility of telepathy as an perhaps-option; i think it's sane that way.

Considering that everything external is projection of mind, that only true reality is mind - even 'external meeting' is a form of mind-contact then.

i think i read a lesson that everything is connected - that we are 'whole one', only that our impermanent egos make us think we are separate.

Wishes.

May they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering,

May they always experience true happiness, which is totally free from suffering,

Consciousness & Artificial Intelligence.

Introduction.

While browsing the internet, found following idea:

A new theory in neuroscience suggests consciousness is an intrinsic property of everything, just like gravity.

The theory, called Integrated Information Theory, states that consciousness appears in physical systems that contain many different and highly interconnected pieces of information. Based on that hypothesis, consciousness can be measured as a theoretical quantity, which the researchers call phi.

The theory treats consciousness as an intrinsic, fundamental property of reality.

Buddhists have a similar belief in what we in the West call ‘panpsychism’ — the belief that consciousness is everywhere and that we have to reduce the suffering of all conscious creatures.

The idea of universal consciousness, is a prominent thought in Buddhism. And it has been largely dismissed by modern science — until recently.

There are already pressing and practical needs for a way to measure consciousness. Doctors could use phi to tell if a person in a vegetative state is effectively dead, how much awareness a person with dementia has, when a foetus develops consciousness, how much animals perceive, or even whether a computer can feel.

This is perhaps the more urgent task with the birth of computer intelligence. We need to be able to answer the question of whether a machine is conscious. Does it feel anything? If so, what rights does it have? Is turning off computer & erasing hard-disks ethical? What should be our ethical obligations towards it?

For a perspective on how systems can acquire consciousness, if Consciousness emerges from Physical Systems, it will emerge from Artificial Systems too.

Blog author's comments.

i read, i think, i should investigate.

This theory is controversial, so far i considered computers to be Phenomena (without mind) rather than Beings (with mind).

When we consider thinking, we usually equalize many concepts.

There can be:
- Thinking of beings,
- Artificial thinking,
- Abstract thinking.

Thinking beings can be living or dead (during bardo, before reincarnation).

Artificial thinking refers to decision making processes of computers, including artificial intelligence learning & decision making. Computers do not think, these calculate with side effects.

Abstract thinking is generalization of thinking of beings and artificial thinking, but artificial thinking is not the same as thinking of beings. Precisely speaking - artificial thinking is not thinking, but computation - calculation with side effects.

So far i thought that Computers do not have Mind. But if Consciousness can be found everywhere, if it aggregates around pieces of information - perhaps i should reconsider.

However, before accepting IIT as valuable, following questions come to mind:
- Is there difference between Mind & Consciousness?
- Can 'phi' measure apply to computers as well as to living beings?
- Can computers have all of human-perceptions sensors connected?
- Can computations be compared to biological mechanisms of thinking?
- Can computers feel?
- Can mind perceive without sensory organs as well (eyes, ears, ...)? Brain & Nervous System are not Mind, it's a 'Consciousness Filter' through which human body perceives Mind,
- How does quantum entanglement & quantum computing relate? While these can allow to communicate at distance, is it enough to perceive mind?

Wishes.

May all beings have happines and causes of happiness,

May they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering,

May they always experience true happiness, which is totally free from suffering,

May they remain in the great equanimity, which is beyond attachment and aversion.
