'To study is to know the texts,
To practice is to know your defilements,
To attain the goal is to know & let go.'
~Ajahn Lee Dhammadharo~
Manjushri with Sword & the Book on the Lotus Flower.
His Sword cuts through Delusions making easier to discard these,
Wisdom Flower blooms as we let go of Mind's Defilements & Veils.
Introduction.
Prajñāpāramitā means 'the Perfection of (Transcendent) Wisdom', the Heart Sutra (Prajñāpāramitā Hṛidaya) is part of it.
Today repeated Manjushri's Mantra a bit more than a few times, listened to Manjushri's Mantra repeated for hours, as a way for awakening Wisdom.
Then read the first part of the Heart Sutra again, then had insights.
About the Heart Sutra of the Prajñāpāramitā.
About the Enlightenment & Love.
Verses i took interrest in speak about Emptiness & Form, that every of Mind's Qualities & as well as Wisdoms are empty (non-permanent) by their nature.
Form is Emptiness, Emptiness is Form.
Everything conditioned is empty & returns to space after a time. Empty Space is a Potential, everything can emerge from it. It's a Space's Free Play.
Insights told me that Buddha's Teachings (Wisdoms) are better than seems, that not only with time understanding deepens, but also that by the moment of Enlightenment, the Wisdoms & Mind's Qualities - disappear - only to reappear in their Perfect Forms.
i read a little more and thought about that later - and came to conclusion that it's because of Mind's Veils as ego do hinder seeing clearly & understanding.
For now, at least - i think that as we read, watch or listen to Dharmas, Buddha's Lessons, our mental structures, assumptions & perhaps dogmas make us to see the Truth as obscured, defiled, we do too easily misinterpret, miscategorize, misunderstand the Absolute Truth.
The Liberation - defeat of one's own ego, then Enlightenment, the defeat of stiff concepts make us to see the Truth, the True Reality clearly, without obstructions - then the Dharma Lessons are seen in their Perfect Form.
'Therefore we ought to know the great verse of the Prajñāpāramitā, the verse of the great
wisdom, the unsurpassed verse, the verse which appeases all pain -- it is truth, because
it is not false -- the verse proclaimed in the Prajñāpāramitā:
"O wisdom, gone, gone, gone to the other shore, landed at the other shore, Svaha!"'
-- Quoted from 'THE LARGER PRAJÑĀPĀRAMITĀ-HRIDAYA-SUTRA'.
(There's more about Mind's Qualities in this Holy Sutra, but for purpose of this article -
it's sufficient that with Wisdom there's View, and with View there are Mind's Qualities).
Insights told me that our Teachers know & experience Wisdoms - as well as Mind's Perfect Qualities - better, thanks to them the Dharma Lessons are better experienced & understood.
Insights told me to not criticize Wisdoms of our Teachers, instead to follow them as precisely as i can - then the progress will be fast and Perfection's Flower will bloom in Mind.
Insights told me that everything conditioned is empty, non-permanent - that while in Love one tries to help Loved ones as much as he or she can, but after Enlightenment one does this much better;
i thought about HH Buddha Karmapa's recent marriage as well.
'Following the precious footprints of Khakyab Dorje, His Holiness the 15th Karmapa, who was also married and a Tertön, Karmapa hopes that his karmic connection with his wife, Rinchen Yangzom, will further strengthen the Karma Kagyu lineage and the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism.'
Buddha Karmapa clearly thinks about others (of himself as well), clearly thinks in the Beyond-Personal, Altruistic, Wise & Compassionate Way.
Understanding this all makes me wish for Enlightenment even more, for a Buddhist woman i Love, For Buddha with his wife, for Lama Ole Nydhal with his wife, for Dharma, for Sangha, for Friends & for all beings - not only from this world.
Wishes.
May all beings have happines and causes of happiness,
May they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering,
May they always experience true happiness, which is totally free from suffering,
May they remain in the great equanimity, which is beyond attachment and aversion.
