History's Lessons.

About.

'Forget not the days of old, and recall the stories told'.

Many of the beings honor their Ancestors, trying to follow their paths in their days.

History likes to repeat itself, by criticizing errors of the past, we prevent them from reappearing in present & in future.

'It's winners who write history'.

But historians also rewrite it - and very efficiently - they warn against historical events reappearing, both on small and larger scales.

Often events of the past are recreated in another times, to counter or reinforce other events' reoccurance.

This blog's author's way includes such 'rewriting of history' - of mostly of Buddhist & Esoteric events.

i wish to study such history, starting from Buddha's life, to the Golden Dawn & Thelema's origins & background, to the Wicca/Witchcraft's historical lore; other ways & events should be included as well - as needed or neccessary.

i am interrested in artifacts & relics, in Tormas, in holy & magickal items, in archaeology as well - but i read in Lama Ole Nydahl's book that truth, precision & accuracy are more important than old dates of such treasures.

i think Torma (holy hidden treasure) can be found in mind or outside - it can be idea, inspiration or physical item.

i do not wish to be greatest historian ever, just to be great in my selected fields.

Why?

i think that even articles & comments on blogs can have meaning - when they criticize, reinforce or warn - affecting present & future, drawing from past.

i think Buddhism, Esoterics, Art (including historical Art) & Philosophies will greatly enhance that Way.

i think it's also a way of fighting for Enlightenment, mostly Buddhist & Magickal.

Critics requested & welcome, as i progress on the Way.

'Buddha's Life.
Way to Mind's Freedom.'

History Book.
'Modern Wicca.
A History from Gerald Gardner to the Present.'

Gerald Gardner was Wicca's founder, but many see that there are predecessors in earlier times.
'The Essential Golden Dawn.'

Overview of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

It's a background & history book mostly about this Magickal Tradition.

Wishes.

May all beings have happines and causes of happiness,

May they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering,

May they always experience true happiness, which is totally free from suffering,

May they remain in the great equanimity, which is beyond attachment and aversion.
