Awakening Deva & Manifesting Buddha Qualities.

Introduction.

Years ago, i took seriously Mahakala Practice, trying to be a Protector that way.

i think Mahakala is Deva, in which Buddha Qualities manifested.

i read that HH Buddha Karmapa told that Lama Ole Nydahl realized all of Mahakala Qualities in this life already.

Thoughts & Concerns.

i didn't plan for this, but recently my understanding grew, thoughts & concerns appeared.

Insights appeared telling me that it's my way to awaken Mahakala Deva Qualities within me, including Manifesting Buddha Qualities in this Ascended Form - to skillfully help countless beings.

It's not practicing Buddhism to become a God, for Buddha taught that it's building happiness on 'shaky ground' - no god lasts forever, and there's no greater pain than pain of dying god.

Only Enlightenment is lasting.

What i was thinking was about practicing Buddhism & Deity Yoga in future - while exploring various mind-states to understand how mind works better, including Deva & Asura (Asura who challenges Devas) mind states. While in these heavenly states trying to help as best as possible, and accepting the loss of these states when time comes for it.

i do not know where this leads, however.

Following concerns appeared:
- Is it proper? Is it worthwhile aspiration?
- Is it deluded ambition & mostly waste of precious time?
- Can Devas or Asuras be Wise & Compassionate, can they reach Enlightenment before they fall from heavenly realms?

i do not know answers, but i heard that humans have best opportunity for development of all possible births.

i could use honest, sincere feedback & comments regarding that way.

Wishes.

May all beings have happines and causes of happiness,

May they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering,

May they always experience true happiness, which is totally free from suffering,

May they remain in the great equanimity, which is beyond attachment and aversion.

Mantras.

OM MAHAKALAYE SOHA
OM A RA PA CA NA DHIH
OM MANI PEME HUNG

OM KALACHAKRA SOHA
OM AMI DEWA HRI

KARMAPA CHENNO

Namaste, blessed be.
